McCombs is ranked 4th in the nation for finance. It isn't as heavily recruited by investment banks as schools closer to New York, but it does send some to Wall Street each year. You can definitely get a great job elsewhere seeing as it has the largest job pool of any university and Texas has a very strong economy. I'd imagine you could go to Wharton for an MBA and work in investment banking much easier if you had some good job experience under your belt.
