Whitesell's reputation is that of a fairly easy teacher, but since you learn less compared to the other classes, it'll come around to bite you in the end.
It's not to say that every one of Whitesell's students is a shoddy student -- he just doesn't ask that much of his class, so there's really no motivation to do the extra work that sets you apart from everyone else.
