how did u get this:

Now use the distance formula
h - L_w = (0)(y) + (0.5)(g)y^2
or h = L_w + (0.5)(g)(u/g)^2
= L_w + ((0.5)/g)* ((L_w - 0.5gt^2)/t)^2
