Here's the bottom line: You attend a strong school and have a solid GPA. You are still young - networking and join some clubs (ideally in a leadership type of position). Once you land your first internship, which doesn't have to be IB - here are some other [url=http://www.bankonbanking.com/2010/03/15/no-summer-analyst-ib-offer-%E2%80%93-is-life-over/internship options[/url] to set you up for a SA IB offer. Once you polish your resume and build some contacts, you should be in good shape to break into IB as a junior (and possibly a soph with boutiques) and then pursue FT opps.
