East coast!! Snow!! Yay
!!! Really cold, and though I thoroughly enjoy such weather, not many other Indians do. Academics-wise there are top colleges in both the regions. And yeah blue is right about that...I saw this thread on CC where people said a Cornell degree doesn't count for much in California :/ vs UCLA, UCB that is.
So it's basically down to the weather. You're the one going to college. Not your parents. It shouldn't be up to them to decide.
