So I tried to search about this and got nowhere because all my search components were too short so please bear with me or tell me how to search to get what I need.

The question:
Those of you who got into NYU or who have children who got in [even if finally deciding not to go there], what type of GPA in HS did you/your child have?

I am trying to determine which of two conflicting claims I recently heard, is the truth about what type of HS academic performance is required for admission to NYU.
