Believersmom, I don't post my childrens' stats on message boards. If you want to PM, I could share though I usually don't but I would for you. Stats are important but admissions involves lots of factors/criteria. Also if you are looking at GPA, you have to also look at the difficulty of the curriculum....ie, did student take the most challenging curriculum available, etc. Also, for NYU, looking at my 2003 edition of Princeton Review...it says: SAT range (talking the 25th%tile to 75%tile of admitted students) is: Verbal 630-710 and Math 600-710. Average HS GPA is: 3.7. 72% graduated in top 10% of class, with 93% in top quarter of their HS class. Hope this helps. Please remember that so much else goes into it beyond these numbers though you have to have numbers in range to be considered.
