College Confidential - View Single Post - What are my chances of getting into Georgia Tech

Hi I am a rising senior living in Georgia. I am white, attend a private prep-school, and live about 30 minutes away from Atlanta. I have a 3.6 GPA and I get my first SAT scores back this weekend. I have taken the PSAT 3 times and have improved considerably each time to where my last score was an 1820. My SAT will most likely be higher. I took AP European history this year and most likely made a 5. Next year I'm taking AP Statistics and Ap Goverment. My school only offers about 10 APs so 3 of 10 isn't terrible. I'm in many clubs academic and otherwise, have around 200 hours of community service, and really want to persue a career in engineering. I will be aplying to UGA as well and possibly some smaller schools, but what do you think my chances are? Thank you so much for your help.
