This is justified. Depending on the courses you're taking we may not see you again until December. Part of the experience at Columbia is just that, the EXPERIENCE. You're going to have a difficult time getting good grades and meeting people, going to sporting events, going out in NYC, etc., if you're taking 15 credits.
