I was wondering if anyone knows whether or not AP computer science class counts as an academic class, becuase i really want to ask my computer science teacher for a recomendation but johns hopkins, and majority of other universities, say in their sites that they need recomendations from an academic teacher, and they define an academic class as math, science... but in some high schools computer science counts as a science class and in other schools it just counts as an elective. I searched throughout all the foroums, and website but i could not find this out anywhere. Also is Intro To Engineering design H considered an math/science class and hence an acadmic class. also is the recalculated johns hopkins gpa takes account into computer science classes and project lead the way classes( intro to design honors..).
