seiclan - can you ask your S again about the ACT? D didn't do any prep - for either the SAT or the ACT. Her SAT score was at the top of the range you have here, but her ACT score was much much higher. At the ivy schools, both these didn't help
Her ACT scores though netted her good merit scholarships at all her match schools (Rochester, Case Western, Tulane).
