I watched last night and will admit that I'm already hooked. (My husband, on the other hand, says its just more the same vis a vis American Idol, etc.)
I was impressed with several of the singers, but not really impressed with the 42 year old woman who sang. they went ga-ga over her, but she won't last long. Her story was good, but her voice not so great. I did like the 13 year old girl and the hip-hop guy (and I don't like hip hop music.)
For me, these shows get more interesting when they get into the actual performances, once the auditions are over.
