As you all know , Southwest flights do no assign seats , but board by zone. When they announce the flight is overbooked , you know the flight is full. So when you board , why not make it easy on everyone and sit down and fill the seats in a manner that will make boarding quick ? Seriously , I don't think I saw a more selfish bunch of people..sit all the way in , or next logical seat..choosing to sit on the aisle when you know very well that people are going to have to get in past you makes no sense. The disruption and struggle that happened was uncalled for..and what really angers me is , this wasn't one or two people , but several that did this. What happened to common courtesy or basic manners ? Crew asked several times for cooperation both with seating and not overloading the overhead storage , yet no one was willing to yield.
Seriously folks , it was an hour long flight
