I've just received a call saying that I am chosen as a Posse finalist for University of
Wisconsin-Madison. It's great news, but I'm in a dilemma. I don't know if it's worth the risk to go to a school that is not as high and prestigious as many other schools I'm applying to. That being said, I am not sure if I would get into other schools that I'm applying RD to. But once I confirm with Posse I want to continue the process, then I have to go through to, and if accepted to Wisconsin, I can't back down. What are your thoughts? I want to go to a good graduate school for sure, but does having a Posse scholarship make a big difference even if I didn't go that great of a school? Also, for any of you who are more aware of Posse, do you know if you are just accepted as a Posse finalist, does that mean you are in their database for other colleges to search for?
