I don't think anyone on here claimed it was one of the safest cities and the other poster merely stated he/she never heard of anyone being robbed at gunpoint and doubted it happens. This is different than stating it never happens. Your contribution might hold more weight if you had previously posted anything on CC other than this comment. Again, if one is reasonably cautious and does not travel alone at night outside of campus, one should not have any concerns about safety.
