Me too, I'm applying! I was going to apply USC this Feb., but I was too discouraged after my grades came in during winter break. I got a C in Cal 1, so that tanked my GPA. I don't know why in God's name I am deciding to apply to an even more competitive school; I guess I'm just feeling brave lol. Anyway, my stats aren't that great, so I'm not banking on NU, but maybe I'll be part of the few who gets in with "sub-par" stats, lol.
HS Stats:
HS GPA: Horrible, will not even mention. But I did do a lot of AP classes. I explained to them in my first essay why my GPA sucked-- pure laziness, tbh.
SAT/ ACT: 1800, 27 (I know, not so good)
EC'S: President of Model UN, VP of my school's H4H, volunteer, more I can't remember
-------
College Stats:
Classification: Rising sophomore
College GPA: Winter--3.385 (14 credits: All A's and 1 C) Spring (expected): 3.6-3.78 (18 credits, mainly intro classes w/ 1 upper level Psyc class)
EC's: MVP volunteer, Hallyu wave club member, Psychology club member, AMSA member
Recs: Only got 1 from my Stats professor, she's the only one I really know. Didn't want to get a bunch of generic ones
Essays: Done with the CommonApp one, working on the NU supplement one
Other: I'm applying to my state school, UT also. Would love to go there to, tbh
