I was faced with the same dilemma ycypuppy, and I ended up choosing W&L. I never regretted it for a second. W&L has better academics than richmond and the social scene is so much fun. Of course you will not be near any cities as large as richmond but I didnt find that as a huge problem. And to top it off, I had a friend who went to richmond and transferred to W&L and he said it was the smartest thing he ever did! I urge you to go to W&L!!
