Hi! So, after my freshman year I moved from Louisiana to California and the four year plan I had planned out in my school in Louisiana kind of went up in flames. Originally I had planned on taking Geometry and Algebra II together in Sophomore year (this year) but the school I switched to has a policy against allowing students to double up in any course...to make matters worse my original schedule had me taking Chemistry over the summer after sophomore year so I could take AP Bio in Junior year...the school I go to now also doesn't accept summer credits. After talking with my counselor I found out the only class I will be allowed to take over the summer for advancement is Algebra II so I can get that sorted out, but that still leaves me behind everyone else here in Science. I was the only sophomore in my Honors Biology class this year whereas in Louisiana it would have been roughly half sophomores and half freshmen. :/
How bad do you think this will look to colleges? I'm still in all honors...
The middle school I went to messed up my schedule which prevented me from taking Algebra I in 8th grade thus setting off a kind of domino effect.
