I do not see a reason to retake ACT when you already have a very high score and already have even higher section scores on the two sections that many colleges believe are the more important, math and English. Particlularly do not do it for purpose of getting another test that will be used to superscore with first test. Unlike SAT, majority of colleges do not superscore ACT and none of your very high ranked colleges other than WashU do so, they instead use that ACT test with highest composite.
I also do not see a reason to retake SAT because you already have a very high ACT. I know there were were several people who were applying for admission this year who posted on these boards who let their egos overcome their common sense and retook the tests even after having high first test scores and the result was, to their utter amazement and chagrin, a much lower score. And, of course, those applicants had firmly believed that getting a lower score could not possibly happen to them.
