There is no reason to retake the act and since the act doesnt superscore itself (the colleges do it or dont but act sends only whole scores) its not worth the risk.
the only reason to retake the sat would be if you wish to attend a college that prefers the sat AND requires a higher score than you have and even then i would want to be sure either that they superscore, or that i did prep to guarantee an increase, or both.
