Frankly, if you need scholarships to afford college, then you should take a gap year and reapply to the SCHOOLs that give them.
There are far fewer scholarships for current students. Usually students can only get them from their OWN college from the major dept and they will be small, for one year, and given to the tippy top students. For instance, my son once got a dept scholarship for being the best student in the dept, but it was a one time $800 scholarship...nice but didn't make any real difference...paid for books one semester which was nice.
With your M+CR score, you could have gotten much larger scholarships from the schools that award them.
