Your income's pretty low; fortunately, many of the top colleges give plenty of need-based financial aid. That shouldn't discourage you from applying to private universities such as Boston U. However, with your stats it looks like the top private universities (Harvard, Yale, etc.) will be quite a reach.
It looks like you have seven schools on your list now. That is a good number; people apply to 10-15 schools and it takes quite a bit of time. Fortunately, all the UC's go under the same application, so that'll save you some time.
You don't need a finalized list right now (I didn't really have one until October...even then I only applied to five schools). Visit some colleges, see which schools have the best programs that you're interested, revise your list if needed.
