| Some of the people on this thread have been mentioning SF as a plus, but I've actually heard that it's rather hard to go to SF from Stanford (over an hour and hard to find transportation) and most students stay on campus. Supposedly, it's pretty self-contained. This is from a recent Stanford grad and most of the college guides I've read. I don't think they allow freshmen to have cars also, so it would be hard to get off campus. |
