Just wanted to remind you that the summer is an awesome time to do SAT prep. My D did Kaplan, and between them and her "college coach," increased her scores by 260 points when she took them for the last time in October. Needless to say we think this will come in handy when and if she applies to some of the heavy hitters. I'm glad we forwent (?) the summer pre-college programs for this sort of a program (and other college prep stuff) as she needed the extra boost in her score. Will let you know how it all comes out. It seems there are so many ways to prepare yourself, I just wish she had done some of the precollege MT stuff prior to her senior summer. It seems too late to wait till then...for what it's worth. |
