It really depends on who is looking, how much experience you have, etc. If you are not specifically looking for something to suit your field of study, just a way to put some money in the bank for expenses at school, there are tons of random, ****ty jobs out there. I had no work experience and was suprisingly hired at an popular, trendy restaurant. Not exactly glamorous work, but I was lucky to get it with no experience in an area where no one was hiring. The positive side of working in restaurants are that the hours are usually short (my shifts were almost always four hours), in the late afternoon or night (good, depending on when you get out of school), and I made incredible tips, sometimes coming out averaging $17/hr. Food for thought...
