| NYU is almost twice the cost of many, many of the schools discussed on this forum. Not everyone has the luxury of choosing the best fit. We all "value sending our kids to college and to ones of their choosing." That's certainly not the issue. The issue is whether it's financially feasible. For many, I'd even say, most, that's the case when total cost is so much. There are certainly other schools which near, or possibly, exceed that cost. But, there are not many and most do not even approach that. If families can and desire to send their kids to NYU, that's wonderful. But, there's just no question about how expensive it is in the real world. |
