| Chicago's student body is still as strong as the other top colleges. 23% of Indiana's student body were top 10% in HS. To me, that shows quite different student bodies. Even if the Kelley students are much stronger than the general student body, I doubt that they are on par academically with Cornell AEM majors, Georgetown Business majors, etc. And it's not like Kelley is a selective school. I know someone who got into the program with several C's and a D on his transcript along with low SATs and no extracurriculars.
Also, someone from Indiana can you give me some insight on grading? If the Kelley students are taking classes like english and math with non-kelley students aren't their gpas going to be a lot higher. Would you say that a Kelly 3.7 GPA is comparable to a Cornell AEM 3.7 or a Georgetown 3.7 or a CMU Tepper 3.7? I'm just curious if the Kelley students get really high GPAs at Indiana because they are smarter than the general student body at Indiana. |
