| Yeah, I got into to it. It can be sort of tough. The minimum to get into the minor is 3.2 GPA overall and 3.2 in prerequisite courses. Accounting courses at UCLA are very tough and are graded very harshly. Competition is cut throat. Only those who are natuarally good at math and accounting manage to get As and Bs. It is so tough I am now considering not finishing the minor for the sake of my GPA since I am a Business Econ major anyway. Bottom line: only go into if you are good at math and think accounting is what you really want to do. |
