People on this site are rediculous. It seems as though people make up a ranking with their FAVORITE schools and just say everyone else is wrong.
You can argue with the methodology (e.g. US News has flawed methodology) but you cannot argue with the way the rankings fall. Besides, if you think about it, most of the rankings that people here hate tend to have all the same schools schools on top anyway. They just tend to be shuffled around a bit. Generally, they fall in the same range anyway. If there is a great variance you may need to pay attention to the methodology of the rankings and accept that as the reason. Bottom line: there are many great schools out there. Just because you think school x is greater than school y does not mean that it is in fact better. By some measures it may be but by others it may not.
