First, a special thanks to Trinity for suggesting and then setting up this JHU Admission Officers' Corner. As stated above, I will be posting here updates and other important messages that I hope you will all read and find helpful. Additionally, myself and in the future some of my colleagues will be posting some fun and interesting topics as well, to help you all get a better more comprehensive view of JHU.

Second, please pay attention to Trinity's request "to NOT use this thread to post questions or comments. This thread will be stickied for easy access, but is also meant to remain as uncluttered as possible." Also, it is beneficial to you all as posters to read my suggestions above to keep the JHU CC Board the most effective and accessible for all.

Finally, I thought I would post a quick update about what myself and my colleagues are up to and will be up to over the next few weeks:

*Summer vacations are coming to end for us. So Sad.
*A number of us are drudging through our web content (at http://apply.jhu.edu) and updating everything we can by the end of the month.
*The Counseling team has welcomed three new staff members in the last couple of weeks and we are back to a full staff again.
*Myself and the Hopkins Interactive students are working diligently to re-launch Hopkins Interactive in September.
*Everyone is excited to welcome the Class of 2010 to campus in less than two weeks.
*The campus is excited for the opening of Charles Common (it looks great) and the start of Aramark as our dining vendor (good changes ahead).
*The Operations team has already begun to process application materials, and there are already thousands of online applications in progress.
*The staff is finalizing fall travel arrangements, and are getting ready to hit the road in about a month.
*Fall visit programs and dates are being organized and arranged, and will be posted on the web by the end of the month.

I could go on...but I'll sum it up this way. WE ARE BUSY!!!
