Freshman... maybe not so much, but upperclassmen, sure. Obviously it depends on the particular couple, their maturity level, the nature of the relationship (exploitative vs respectful etc), but in general, my guess would be that the majority of college freshmen are just not at all in the same place in their life as recent grads, so no matter how mature they are, it might be hard to relate. However, there are exceptions to every rule...
