| I would use "and remind me of where I came from" unless you have to have the "have come." And the preposition thing is ok, because the readers are looking for a natural flow and not picky about grammar. Those are the kinds of rules the teachers told you back in the day when you didn't know what you were doing; but now you're a stronger writer and the rules can be broken. |
