BTW , did you even apply to any TOP 12 schools? What went wrong?

Do you really believe this? How sad that you are so tied up on prestige and rankings that you can't even respect your own alma mater simply because it didn't make some list.
Heck, my alma mater is in the 50-100 range and I respect my education.
