| State residency?
Hey guys, I didn't really know where to put this, so a gomen in advance if it's in the wrong spot. But I have a burning question!
Can I still claim residency in California even though:
- I've lived in Japan for the past ten years as a military brat?
(hence, I've never gone to school in CA)
- Have never visited CA since I left (which was about 14 years ago)?
My father does claim residency there, however, but there just seems to be so much working against that. I'm not too familiar with these sort of things, in any case.
