it could depend on course selection as well shobhit. I notice he is taking orchestra in school. Most schools who do ranking based off of weighted GPAs won't give an orchestra A as much weight as an AP class A. So the kids who choose not to take music/atheletic courses and just lay on the academic advanced courses get a leg up in rank.
