i dont have any personal experience yet (will be a m.i. major fall 2007) but ive talked to students in it. everyone i've talked to said the co-ops are great but many are unpaid and that the program is really interesting and great for making contacts. one person said that they felt like they learned the same material in most of their classes, but i dont know how true that is. i've also been advised to add another major or minor, i guess to have something more versatile and marketable (btw a business minor is very easy to get with the m.i. major). sorry no really good specifics but that's all that i've got.
