| i'm not sure of actual numbers, but i can tell you that the Steinhardt program accepts a mixture of both MT and classical voice majors to make up their freshman class. My friend is currently in the program and i believe the freshman class is somewhere around 30? So it might be like, 15 MT and 15 classical...not sure though. As far as Ticsh goes, I wouldnt say one is more competitive than the other, but I do know for a fact that WAY more people audition for Tisch (something like 2000 this year?), just because it's so well known. Steinhardt is still very competitive, but not as many people try out. hop this helps... |
