| i wouldn't rule it out completely but it would make your life easier to give up on it. the university needs to hold more and more people in the dorms every year and double rooms, well, can hold twice as many people. singles are for upperclassmen anyway and unless there's a compelling reason, they won't give you a single as a freshman. |
