Am surprised at why you didnt get any money at howard(what where your combined critical reading and math scores?) and about your cumulative GPA, i think you were still eligible because according to their website; the legacy scholarship requires a 3.00 gpa and sat scores ranging from 1170-1290....and this covers tuition and fees (heres the URL http://www.howard.edu/financialaid/g...s.htm#Freshman)

I am also surprised on the speed at which you were notified that you were not receiving a scholarship because they dont sit for awarding scholarship decisions for regula decision applicants till may... When exactly where you notified on your admission decision and how exactly did you become aware that you were not going to receive a scholarship?
