However, our diversity is formed by the individuals we are, by what we choose to do with our futures, and also by where we come from, which without doubt involves our cultural backgrounds. Race does define who we are, but not because we have a particular skin color or genetic inheritance, but because it distinguishes a particular culture. Without doubt, a person from China will posses completely different ideas from an American because of their cultural backgrounds. Therefore, racial diversity is a way to increment diversity. |
