Yeah when I went for Longhorn Saturday last year the lady giving us the housing presentation was actually saying that UT doesn't really encourage kids to live on campus that much cause they can't accomadate them all! Haha. Now, that being said a lot of people right off the bat go private to places like Dobie, Towers, SRD etc so maybe if you apply like right now you'd get supplemental but who knows.
