| Mojo, My personal opinion is to go to berkeley. Since I have seen you speak about prestige and getting a job, I am assuming that you find employment important. Although I am biased for looking only at consulting firms, I feel that berkeley gets more recruitment than UCLA. Also, even though UCLA is slightly below berkeley, I feel like it's more prestigous (obviously because of the grad programs).
Besides academics and recruiting, you can't really beat UCLA in weather and school spirit, but why not experience something new? It's a big reason why I am leaving UCLA because I live like.. 45 minutes away and its really the only time to try new things before you have to be serious and work. Suppose you DO get a weird roommate, go join some activities or even a frat. If you make the effort, you won't be a loner.
feel free to PM me if you have an specific questions about LA. |
