| pchristiani, you see, those numbers are just everyone who applied to Haas; with that in mind, if 340 out of state residents applied, haas would not be their first choice since its the hardest to get into, and not to mention that not everyone is a business major. So i would guess that out of those 340, maybe around 20 or so are out of state, and perhaps around 3-5 of those got in.
If you are going to write a hardship essay, i would not recommend writing an essay like "oh look at me, i suffered alot". America loves coming-of-age stories, so thats what i would recommend; or somehow tie it in with the hardship. |
