If you visit the beautiful UW campus (and I think you should), go to lunch at Agua Verde. It's near the new Genome Sciences buliding - south of the Pacific and 15th intersection. Get there before noon and eat outside overlooking the water. After lunch you can rent a kayak downstairs, or go to the UW Waterfront Activities Center (at the back of the football stadium parking lot) and rent a canoe there. Paddle across the Montlake cut into the arboretum. A whole new world down under the freeway bridges!
