| Helped out a Ga Tech student.....
A Ga Tech student pmed me to check on location of off campus housing he selected. I was able to direct him to some reviews of that apt by students which may have changed his mind....just goes to show you how this thread can help others....we often don't know what goes on in a city where our children go to school. With a city like Atlanta, a couple of blocks can make a huge difference in safety, feasibility of walking or riding bikes to campus etc. Do check things out with locals if your student is off campus. THe crime reports for schools do not report crimes occurring off campus usually. |
