Don't worry too much if you don't totally understand the HASS requirement right now -- you'll figure it out later.
What first-term freshmen mostly need to know is that it's a good idea to take a class that is both HASS-D and CI first semester. It's also a good idea, although not critical, to take another HASS that is both HASS-D and CI second semester.
