| I am in almost the exact same position as you (except I am leaning towards EE).
If you are completely new to computer engineering, I suggest that you read "A+ Guide To Managing and Maintaining Your PC" (A+ certification is usually the first certification that people can get if they want to work hands-on with computers). They issued me that book in tenth grade when I took this semester-long A+ certification course, so it is as elementary as you can get. However, its over 1,000 pages.
And yes, majoring in CE and CS shouldn't be too much of a burden (at least at my school). |
