| The bus is 'OPT', I am going out on a limb here and guess it's Oneonta Public Transit?
The bus is free with student ID from Hartwick. OPT provides shuttle busses for SUNY Oneonta and Hartwick College Thursday through the weekend at regular 30 minute intervals during school sessions. The shuttle is free to Hartwick students with their 'Wick' card/Id. It runs past downtown, which is in walking distance, and goes to Southside Mall (really just JC Penney, a reasonably-priced 9-screen movie house, OfficeMax, and about 20 other places.), right across the parking lot from the ubiquitous Wal-Mart.
As for her decision, she stated before the first semester was over that she could not imagine herself anywhere else. |
