I really don't know which one is better to be honest.

if youre looking for a UC that has architecture, it would be UCBerkeley.

UCLA just opened their undergraduate architectural studies B.A program, so no input in that. But people have noted that the master's program is well heard of.

Here are the schools that have architecture in California

Cal Poly San Luis Obispo - B.arch
Cal Poly Pomona - B.arch
USC- B.arch
UCBerk-B.A
UCLA- B.A
SCIarch
New School of architecture

umm..thats all i can think of from the top of my head.

Before i transfered, I was talking to my professor to see which school was better suited for me, but it's hard to decide because each schools offer a different outlook in the field. From what alot of people say, Cal Poly's are very technical (although I heard they are changing) while UCBerk, USC, UCLA concentrates on theory. Best is to visit the school and check out their studios. Ive visited UCB and Cal Poly SLO and i.m.o, i very liked UCB studio. Hope that helps and correction is permitted.
