Could someone start a list of the various engineering majors (electrical, mechanical, computer, biomedical, chemical, civil, computer science, and whatever other engineering degrees that I've never heard of), including a brief description of what the major entails and what kind of job prospects it can create?
example: in civil engineering you learn how to _______, and with a degree in civil engineering you can work as a _____ and get a job in such and such fields.
or something simple like that. thanks
also, if you're not an engineering major (yet somehow stumble across this topic), include whatever you majored/are majoring in on the list as well.
